Free abuse reporting and reputation lookup service — check whether an IP has been reported for malicious activity.

Tags:

AbuseIPDB is a community-driven IP reputation database focused on abuse/blacklist reporting. Anyone can search an IP to see if it has been reported for activities like hacking, spamming, brute force, DDoS, fraud, or other abusive behavior. Each report includes category tags, reporter notes, and timestamps. The platform also provides a REST API for automated lookups and allows users to submit abuse reports. The free web interface supports manual checks; the API has a free tier with rate limits suitable for development and infrequent lookups. AbuseIPDB is frequently used by system administrators, hosting providers, and security teams to block or investigate suspicious IPs and to feed IP reputation into WAFs, firewalls, or fraud filters. Paid plans increase query quotas and provide SLA.
